Let’s face it, I have been less than active on the blog for the past few weeks (well, months), so as a sort of incentive for me to write stuff, I’m going to use The Stickleback as an impromptu diary for my six week trip South Africa-wards. Now don’t get me wrong, I’m not going on some kick-ass mission to help orphans, or even just to teach English. No, my trip is basically just a glorified holiday, with a bit of design work with Bloemfontein University thrown in. So yeah, there’s probably not going to be a lot of epic goings on or mind-blowing epiphanies, but perhaps, just perhaps, a trip 5913.140 miles south will throw up a few interesting happenings. At any rate, watch this space (No really, please. My blog gets lonely.)!
All this wonderment kicks of at 3:00 tomorrow morning, with the drive down to Heathrow, followed by 10 hours of flying. Next stop, South Africa!
You are so lucky, Jonny! I’ve alaways wanted to go to South Africa but maybe for a kick-ass mission to help orphans :P I’ll be reading with interest. xx
